We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Tommy Dingus. He was a brilliant paramedic, a pillar in the EMS community, and a longtime friend of Pound Rescue.

Tommy played a huge part in teaching and certifying many of our members. He was always happy to help in any way, and did so with a smile on his face.

Please keep Tommy's loved ones, especially his son Brantlee, in your thoughts and prayers. We are going to miss you Tommy. Fly high brother.

Words cannot begin to express the loss our little community feels. Mark was someone that we worked very closely with on car wrecks and other calls. He never failed to lend a hand to anyone who needed him. All we had to do was call Mark if we did not have enough lifting assistance on a call, and he would make sure we had help. Pound has lost an amazing man, business owner, and friend.

Please lift Vonda Shortt Pilkenton, Kelsey Pilkenton, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. Our hearts go out to each of you.

Just a friendly reminder, as of July 1st anytime there is a first responder presence and flashing lights are visible you are required to move over AND slow down. If you absolutely can not move over, you are still required to slow down. This goes for police, fire, ems and tow trucks. We all want to go home safely to our families too. And for everyone's safety, if you are driving DO NOT BE RECORDING on your phone as you drive by. Is that how you want your 5 minutes of fame? "Peggy killed a Volunteer Fire Fighter that had a wife and 3 kids just because she wanted to post to social media that she knew what was going on up Spruce Street...."

Everyone please be praying for our 2nd Lieutenant Jake Cantrell. He flew out west yesterday to help battle the wildfires out there. He will be gone for 2 weeks. Stay safe Sir!!! We love you and will definitely miss you while you're away.
