The Poway-Midland Railroad is a full-size, narrow-gauge railroad in Old Poway Park which carries passengers aboard vintage and antique railroad equipment. The railroad is owned by the City of Poway, and operated by the Poway Midland Railroad Volunteers, is a 501 (c) 3 Corporation that exists on passenger ticket fares and donations. Through the restoration, preservation, and operation of vintage ra

ilroad equipment, the Volunteers are able to offer the community and visitors alike with a vintage train ride around the park, and through interpretation, provide educational programs (such as Operation Lifesaver) as well.

Dear PMRR Fans and Riders, we will be down for maintenance May 30-31. We fully expect to operate June 6-7. We will post an update if anything changes.

🚂We’re excited to share the NEW operating schedule for the Poway Midland Railroad at Old Poway Park!

Saturdays:
Steam locomotive running from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Sundays:
Cable car or speeder running from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please note: the second Sunday of each month is a Dark Sunday (no train operations).

The Poway-Midland Railroad returns this Saturday, January 10. Come check out the Poway Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and take a ride aboard the Poway Midland Railroad.

Schedule Update!!!! This coming Saturday, Dec 6th, we will be running the locomotive. Only 2 more operating weekends this year, so plan on a visit and don't forget Christmas in the Park, Dec 12th and 13th, to finish out the year.
