📚About the Book! 📚After a messy breakup, Alex is ready for a reset. On a whim, she applies for a job as a high school librarian in a town she's never even heard of-Fawn Creek, Kansas. Somehow, she lands the job, finds a sweet widow willing to rent her a room, and packs her Mini Cooper with books, cardigans, and crochet supplies for a brand-new life.

What Alex doesn't expect? The library is in desperate need of help, and the job isn't quite what she was promised. With encouragement from her new friends, including one very cute high school gym teacher, Alex decides to take matters into her own hands and turn the library into something truly special.

But will her efforts be enough to convince the school to keep her on the payroll? And is Fawn Creek just a temporary stop, or the place she's been searching for all along?

📚Books at the Bend is back open!!📚 Let’s continue to strive for a clean & organized library! Leave the crumbs out and hopefully that’ll keep the critters in their own homes. As always, this is a free library. Be considerate when taking books that you leave books for others to enjoy, and donate when you can. Books do not have to be returned to this library they are yours to enjoy and keep or pass along how you wish!

And if your kids are heading back to school there’s a few freebies for kids in the library 😊 Wishing you all the BEST school year!! 🍎🫶🏻 Your next book is waiting for you!

🐜 It’s been brought to my attention that ants have found their way into the library, and unfortunately I don’t think it’s to expand their literary knowledge. Hopefully this issue can be quickly resolved as soon as the weather clears. Stay tuned! Thanks for your patience in the meantime. I always want to strive to have this a neat & clean environment for you to enjoy. Be back soon! Meanwhile, I’m sending these ants marching back home. 🫡

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!! I don’t normally post anything about myself but wanted to include you all in something exciting! For those that don’t know, I not only run this little free library, but I’m a local author as well. I write poetry, mystery, and romance and getting ready to release my 4th full-length novel next month! You may have even seen some of my books make their way into the blue box at some point 👀.

Every book I release, I offer early digital copies to what I like to call my ARC (accelerated reader copies) team. This allows you early access BEFORE it's been publicly released and the chance to try something new and help get the word out about it before the BIG day. If you're interested, sign ups are OPEN and I'd love to have you be a part of this new story. ✨📖

Sign-ups are open and will close by August 13th.
