The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Park County School District #1 normally scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026, has been rescheduled for 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. The meeting will be held at the School Administration Building, 160 North Evarts, Powell, Wyoming.

This month, the Kindergarten Circus celebrated its 50th anniversary, and it continues to create memories that last a lifetime. The circus has been one of Powell’s most cherished traditions since its inception in 1976. It quickly became a rite of passage for generations of kindergarteners who step into the spotlight each spring with imagination, excitement, and just a little nervous energy.

The circus has always been about more than costumes and performances. It’s a chance for students to work together, build confidence, use their creativity, and experience the excitement of performing in front of a crowd.

For many in Powell, the Kindergarten Circus is deeply personal. Former students still remember the role they played decades later, and many connect those memories to growing up in this community. If you were part of the Kindergarten Circus, tell us what role you played!
