Friends of the Powell Branch Library A group of community members dedicated to supporting our public library.

The Friends provide support to the Powell Branch Library by sponsoring programs, providing volunteers for events, organizing the used book sale, donating to the Summer Reading Program, and purchasing books, equipment, and other materials that the library otherwise could not afford. If you love our library and want to get involved we hope that you will join us at our next meeting.

We’re excited to share a glimpse of the future Powell Library! This mock image, currently displayed on the fence at the construction site where the old Powell Library once stood, shows what the exterior of the new building will look like once it’s complete.

The Powell Library Project is moving forward, and we can’t wait to see it take shape soon. Stay tuned for updates!

Encourage your child to love reading during Story Time at the Powell Library!

In July, Story Time will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on:
- Wednesday, July 17th
- Tuesday, July 23rd
- and Wednesday, July 31st

This children's program is free to attend

Bring your friends to the Park County Fairgrounds for an afternoon of Lawn Games hosted by the Powell Library on Wednesday, June 26th starting at 2 p.m.! We will have co****le, ladder golf, tic tac toe, connect four, a bounce house and more!!

This free event is open to those in grades K-12th and will be held in the grassy field to the west of Homesteader Hall.
