During National Police Week, we want to recognize and thank the dedicated law enforcement officers who serve the Powell community each and every day.

To the officers who work long hours, respond to difficult calls, protect our schools and neighborhoods, and are there when people need help most — thank you. Your professionalism, commitment, and willingness to serve this community do not go unnoticed.

This week also serves as a time to remember and honor the officers across the nation who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We are grateful for all who have worn the badge and for the families who stand behind them.

From all of us here in Powell, thank you to our officers for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to keeping our community safe.

In addition to a 4 month in house training, all Wyoming dispatchers must attend and pass a 2 week training at WLEA.
