Park County has had 2 positive cases of Rabies in Bats in the last 2 weeks!

How to protect yourself and your family:
* Vaccinate your pets
* Avoid wildlife: even healthy looking animals can carry the virus
* Rabies is spread through bites and scratches from infected animals
* if exposed: wash wound thoroughly and seek medical attention immediately

If you encounter animals acting strange or active at odd times contact the Wyoming Game and Fish office at 307-527-7125.

If you come across deceased animals - DO NOT HANDLE - contact your local veterinarian for testing options!
