✨ HAPPY EMS WEEK ✨

We are incredibly proud of the dedicated team that makes up the EMS side of our department. This is the strongest it has ever been, with 27 active members consistently filling 100 percent of our schedule, all without any full time paid staff. That’s right, they volunteer their time alongside full time jobs, family life, and countless other commitments, and we are beyond grateful they do.

In 2025, we reached our highest call volume ever. And with 193 calls year to date in 2026, not including a very busy last weekend with three high acuity calls, our community is keeping this team moving.

Another point of pride, we are one of the few EMS units in the State of Wisconsin that remains combined with our fire department. This means more cross training, advanced technical rescue certifications, and seamless teamwork on calls, all leading to better care for our community.

THANK YOU to the incredible members of Poynette Dekorra EMS, and to all EMR and EMT licensed individuals who dedicate themselves to the well being of others.
