Good afternoon Poynette and Arlington communities! We are so excited to share our brand new community events trailer! Once this trailer is done it will be equipped with two large tv's, an X-box, Playstation, Dart board, basketball hoop, awesome lighting and many, many other fun activities for the kiddos in Poynette and Arlington to hang out and engage with the officers. This has been a project that has been in the making for quite some time and Chief Duell and the officers will be working very hard to get this thing fully functional and up and running just in time for school to get out for the summer so we can hang out. We are planning on having our first event at the 51 Mobil Gas Station as they were so inclined to sponsor the propane needed for our grill. Yes, we have a grill, ready to make some brats and hot dogs for the kids to enjoy while they hang out with us. We would like to send a huge shoutout to I39 SUPPLY for their hard work getting this done and for their sponsorship. We are looking for a couple of other businesses in the villages that wish to be sponsors as well and we have just enough room for a couple more stickers. Please reach out to Chief Duell if you wish to sponsor something in the trailer and we will add your business logo on the back of the trailer. We will keep the community posted when our first pop-up event will be.

National Police Week was established in 1962 to honor fallen officers and recognize the service of law enforcement nationwide.

During National Police Week, we proudly recognize the brave law enforcement officers across Wisconsin who serve and protect our communities every day. We honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and remember the families, friends, and fellow officers who continue to carry their legacy forward. Their courage, dedication, and commitment to public safety will never be forgotten.

To the Officers of the Poynette Police Department,

I want to personally thank each of you for your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to serving our community. Every day, you demonstrate integrity, compassion, and courage in the work you do, often under challenging circumstances.

Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and I am proud to serve alongside such an outstanding group of officers. Thank you for your continued hard work and for representing this department with honor.

Stay Safe, and thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Chief Nate Duell
