Help keep our students safe!
For student drop-off and pick-up, please use Entrance 3 (Grand Ave) or Entrance 4 (13th St.) Both routes connect around the athletic parking lot, making for a smooth, hassle-free way in and out. Look for the new signs!

Please avoid the bus lot and use these entrances to help our bus riders stay safe and keep traffic flowing smoothly between the high school and middle school.

Every Friday, Ms.Johnson's environmental science classes head outside to explore the school’s detention pond. What was once just for drainage is now a hands-on learning space. Students observe nature, from animals and insects to weather and changing colors, all while learning how to protect and care for the environment.

Congratulations to these Seniors whose performance on last year's ACT earned distinction! Students in the ACT 30+ Club earned a score of 30 or better, placing them in the 94th percentile nation wide! Students in the Score Jumper club improved their ACT by more than six points in one calendar year.

This week, we welcomed NEA Secretary-Treasurer Noel Candelaria to SPHS on his national back-to-school tour! As a former special ed teacher from El Paso and a national educational leader, Noel asked to visit schools doing standout mental health work. WEAC (Wisconsin Education Association Council) told him Sauk Prairie was the place to go! Thanks to his advocacy, SPSD received a $41,000 grant to grow our mental health programs. Huge thanks to Peggy Wirtz-Olsen, President of WEAC, for hosting and helping connect our educators and students with a national voice for public education!

Last Friday, our Back-to-School Assembly was a blast! Students and staff joined in the playing of our school fight song, class cheers, and the annual Rock, Paper, Scissors Necklace Contest hosted by Sources of Strength. ✂️🪨📄

Sources of Strength is a group of 75+ student leaders dedicated to building a supportive community, promoting mental wellness, and helping everyone develop strong coping skills.

Here’s to a year full of strength and connection!

Here is all the left over items in our HS locker rooms that were cleaned out. They are in our front entrance foyer until June 14th. After that date the items will be donated. If you feel you may have left an item(s) in the locker room please come to the HS between 8-3:30.
