🎉 Grant update: Writing with Purpose; Gratitude and Connection 📝

"Walt Disney?! What do you mean they're from Walt Disney School?! Receiving our first pen pal letters from Walt Disney Elementary school was a highlight of the year! Using our grant-purchased stationery supplies, my students were highly motivated to WRITE WITH PURPOSE."

SCCF’s Youth Making a Difference Council (YMAD) has been helping local students learn about philanthropy since 2003.

These students aren’t just talking about leadership, they’re practicing it, learning that generosity isn’t just about money. It’s about responsibility, service, and making thoughtful decisions that strengthen our counties.

And the best part? They carry those lessons with them long after high school.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙
