This free service is provided by Finger Lakes Community Health and appointments can be scheduled by calling or texting Autumn at 315-399-7386.

The library is open Friday 11-6, and Saturday 10-2. Stop in and see me during Summer Fest!

We have a lot of book looking for new homes! We have pulled a lot this week and they have been flying off the tables. Stop in often for the best selection!

I will be discarding more books today and tomorrow.

The library will be moving to its new location before you know it! In preparation we have started weeding our collection...

The library will be moving to its new location before you know it!

In preparation we have started weeding our collection. This will be continuous until further notice - weeding gets done between our normal operating activities, so some days we don’t get to it at all.

We have two tables set up with free discarded books, that will be added to weekly (sometimes multiple times a week). Donations are appreciated, but not required.

Video Game Night is THIS Saturday, the 15th. 5:30-7:30.We hope to see you there!

Yesterday wrapped up the summer learning program that library staff will be leading (Fun that Pops will be here next Wednesday).

Lots of fun was had! Clay Dino’s were made. A ton of buttons were designed! Fossils were sorted! And origami Dino hatching eggs were made!

A little about Rebecca Foote, who will be leading the class:

"I’ve been working in the floral industry for over 20 years

* I started as an apprentice, at age 17, in central NJ at a local mom & pop shop. I then accepted a position at an upscale flower shop in northern NJ. After working there for a year as a designer, I became head designer for the following 12 years. This included helping to lead a group of designers through weddings, events, celebration of life florals, holidays, parties, daily orders, as well as training not only assistants, but up and coming designers.

After I moved to Albany NY in 2015, I accepted a position as a designer for a prestigious floral company that did high end weddings and events. Some of these events included helping to design and set up the entryway at the NY State Museum for “NY in Bloom” as well as coming in 2nd place in the Capital Region Flower and Garden Expo floral design competition.

After moving to the finger lakes in 2018, I opened my own floral company called Foote Florals. Foote Florals did weddings, events, workshops/ classes, grew some of our own cut flowers, and dabbled in celebration of life designs along with providing local companies with flower bouquets to sell in their own businesses. I closed Foote Florals in 2023 to pursue other passion projects and spend more time with my baby girl.

* I’ve continued to be creative in other ways using outlets such as embroidering, homesteading/ gardening, leading our local Girl Scout troop, painting, interior design, resin, dried floral arrangements and wreaths, wood burning, and jewelry design.
