There has been some confusion about upcoming Election Dates. Here is the answer to some of the questions presented to our office:

Why am I hearing about two different Election Dates?

The Primary Runoff Election will be held on June 16, 2026. The Special Primary Election for Congressional District 6 will be held on August 11, 2026. Everyone is Autauga County will be able to cast ballots in both elections.

When will sample ballots be ready for the June 16, 2026, Primary Runoff Election?

We will meet on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to canvass provisional ballots and prepare the Official Election Results for the 2026 Primary Election. The deadline for our office to receive the certification of candidates from the state parties is May 29, 2026.

Sample Ballots will be ready on or one day prior to June 2, 2026.

When will the Absentee Office be open for me to cast a ballot in the 2026 Primary Runoff Election?

June 2, 2026 Ballots delivered to the Absentee Election Manager

June 9, 2026 Last day to apply for an absentee ballot to mail

June 11, 2026 Last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person

After a successful Election Day, I want to sincerely thank all of the poll workers, registrars, and county employees who worked tirelessly to make this election possible.
From setting up polling locations before daylight, to assisting voters throughout the day, to staying late into the evening to ensure every vote was counted accurately — your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.

Elections do not happen without the many people behind the scenes who give their time, energy, and commitment to serving our communities and protecting the integrity of the process.

Thank you for your professionalism, patience, and service to the voters of our counties. We appreciate each and every one of you!

We will see you back at the polls on Primary Run-off Election Day on June 16, 2026 and the Special Election Primary Day August 11, 2026.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

Judge Kim Kervin

UPDATE- we are back online

Our internet service is currently down!

At this time, we are still able to process driver license renewals but we will not be able to complete any vehicle related transactions.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while our providers work to restore full connectivity.

Thank you to our amazing staff for continuing to serve with smiles and determination even on challenging days! We will post updates as service is restored.
