Pine Level Fire Department Pine Level Fire Department is located in Autauga County, AL. Our response area is comprised of areas in northeast Autauga county and includes 67 square miles.

We respond to over 1,000 calls annually which include EMS, Rescue and Fire responses.

At 3:39 pm yesterday, 10/26/2026, your Pine Level Firefighters along with Haynes Ambulance of Alabama, and the Autauga County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported traffic accident involving a motorcycle. When our units arrived, we found a motorcycle vs another vehicle. Tragically, off an off-duty Prattville police officer perished in the accident. Your PLFD responded with an ALS Rescue Unit, a Brush Unit, a Rescue Company, and a command vehicle.

Any accident like this is difficult to work, and our hearts are heavy for our partners at the Prattville Police Department and we pray for our brothers and sisters in blue, as well as this young officer's family as they grieve.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of CPL. Dakota Lee Davis of the Prattville Police Department. CPL. Davis succumbed to injuries he received from an off-duty motor vehicle accident that occurred yesterday evening on HWY 31 N at the I-65 Pine Level Exit. The loss of CPL. Davis is devastating not only to the Prattville Police Department but the City of Prattville and he will be missed by all. We ask that you keep his wife, his family and the PPD in your thoughts and prayers. A law enforcement es**rt for CPL. Davis will be passing by on I-65 from Montgomery to Millbrook shortly. The accident investigation is still on going by ALEA, more information will be released in the future.

🌪️ Tornado season in Alabama runs from November into May. While the number and severity of tornadoes varies year to year, preparation is non-negotiable. Is your safety plan ready?

Key things to consider:

1️⃣ Determine your safe place before stormy weather. Examples: windowless interior room on the lowest floor, interior stairwell, basement, designated community shelter or safer place, and similar.

2️⃣ Have multiple reliable ways to receive weather alerts, including while asleep! Examples: NOAA Weather Radio, push alerts from media and/or your county emergency management, reliable weather apps., WEA (Wireless Emergency Alerts), and friends and family.

3️⃣ Have a kit that includes essentials such as flashlights, whistle, first-aid kit, sturdy shoes, helmets, and bulky blankets.

A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for the Pine Level Area. The primary impact time will be Friday evening into Saturday morning. Your Pine Level Firefighters set an all-time response record for September, receiving 132 calls for service. PLFD is currently on pace to shatter its annual call volume record of 1,242 responses in 2025.
