"Unearth a Story" the Summer Reading Challenge and Programs start this week! Join us at the Prentiss Public Library on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2 pm, for our special guests from Pine Belt Mental Health. Pick up a reading log and scope the prize store while you are here! Read 15 books and get $15 library bucks to spend in the prize store! Summer Reading Challenge goes on through July.

🦖The Summer Reading Challenge and Dino-mite programs are stomping into Jeff Davis County on May 28th, at 10am, in the Academic Success Center in Carson, MS! JDC Libraries will kick off the "Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Program with Ranger Martin and his prehistoric friends. Don't miss any of the fun! See you on May 28th, and be sure to pickup a Reading log, beginning June 1st. 🦕
