GLASSFORD HILL ROAD WIDENING UPDATE: Next week, crews will perform the final round of asphalt paving in the first phase along Glassford Hill Road, from just north of Long Look Drive to just south of Spouse Drive. Following the completion of paving operations, roadway striping will occur.

Crews will also continue the following work along Glassford Hill Road, between Bear Path and Santa Fe Loop Road:
- Curb, gutter, and sidewalk placement
- Drainage pipe, structure, and culvert installation
- Retaining wall construction

Please note that a new traffic pattern is in place, and road users are advised to stay alert, exercise caution, and follow the posted signage. One lane of traffic in each direction of Glassford Hill Road will always remain open throughout construction. Businesses, schools, and residential communities will remain fully accessible throughout the project. Motorists can expect travel delays, construction equipment in the roadway, and traffic control devices. Periodic sidewalk and pedestrian closures may be necessary. Please follow the marked signage, drive safely throughout the project corridor, and consider using an alternative route if possible.

Arizona is growing and we want your input!

As part of our Next Move Arizona statewide listening tour, we're hosting a virtual public meeting to hear about your transportation challenges and needs.

📆Tuesday, June 16
🕝6 p.m.
🔗Register now: nextmoveaz.com

The session will feature remarks by ADOT Director Jennifer Toth, followed by an interactive session to gather feedback on transportation issues and priorities and a demonstration of an online mapping tool to provide location-specific comments.

“We have visited locations around the state with a goal of strengthening the connection between our transportation system and the communities it serves,” Toth said. “This interactive virtual session is a chance for us to hear from those we may not get to see in person.”

Can’t make the meeting? You can still participate anytime through the online survey and commenting on an interactive map.

The Next Move Arizona listening tour launched in late 2025 and is scheduled to continue through July. To date, the tour has included approximately 60 in-person listening sessions throughout the state with cities and towns, tribal nations, regional planning organizations and community organizations, as well as Next Move Arizona booths at 14 community events.
