Today, we pause to honor and remember the 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who made the ultimate sacrifice on June 30, 2013.

Thirteen years have passed, but their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to service continue to inspire the fire service and communities across Arizona and our nation. Their legacy serves as a solemn reminder of the risks our wildland firefighters face each time they answer the call.

Please join us in taking a moment today to reflect on their service and to keep their loved ones, their fellow firefighters, and all those who continue to serve in your thoughts.
