Yavapai Plan

Yavapai Plan A transportation planning agency representing Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Yavapai County.

Our mission is to use regional leadership in planning and promoting a comprehensive multi-modal transportation system. CYMPO has established a social media policy which governs terms of use on all of CYMPO's social media pages. See the policy at https://www.cympo.org/social-media-terms-of-use/. The Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO), a partnership of Chino Valley, City of P

rescott, Dewey-Humboldt, Prescott Valley, Yavapai County and the Arizona Department of Transportation, was established in June 2003 by federal mandate when the region achieved a population of 50,000. Its purpose is to cooperatively plan the transportation future of the Central Yavapai region that falls within the 401.46 square miles of the MPO Planning Boundary

Through this cooperative effort, the participating agencies have made a commitment to their citizens that as the region grows, their multi-modal transportation system will grow with it to accommodate all needs, including roads and highways for cars and trucks, public transit, and pathways for bicycles and pedestrians.

GLASSFORD HILL ROAD WIDENING UPDATE - EXTENDED LANE CLOSURE

Due to ongoing wall work, excavation, and grading, the southbound lane closure will be extended further north starting Monday, July 13. As a result of this extension, the northbound U-turn just north of Granville Elementary School will be closed. To navigate around the closure, northbound motorists can use Granville Parkway up to the Tuscany/Granville Parkway intersection to either make a left turn or execute a U-turn. Coordination is currently underway with the Granville HOA and the school to ensure residents and parents are notified of these changes.

Roadway excavation and subgrade preparation will continue within the second phase of work along Glassford Hill Road, from Spouse Drive to the southern intersection of Granville Parkway and Glassford Hill Road. Crews will continue curb, gutter, and sidewalk placement, landscape installation, and retaining wall construction within the first phase along Glassford Hill Road, from Bear Path to just south of Spouse Drive.
