Yavapai Plan

Yavapai Plan A transportation planning agency representing Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt and Yavapai County.

Our mission is to use regional leadership in planning and promoting a comprehensive multi-modal transportation system. CYMPO has established a social media policy which governs terms of use on all of CYMPO's social media pages. See the policy at https://www.cympo.org/social-media-terms-of-use/. The Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization (CYMPO), a partnership of Chino Valley, City of P

rescott, Dewey-Humboldt, Prescott Valley, Yavapai County and the Arizona Department of Transportation, was established in June 2003 by federal mandate when the region achieved a population of 50,000. Its purpose is to cooperatively plan the transportation future of the Central Yavapai region that falls within the 401.46 square miles of the MPO Planning Boundary

Through this cooperative effort, the participating agencies have made a commitment to their citizens that as the region grows, their multi-modal transportation system will grow with it to accommodate all needs, including roads and highways for cars and trucks, public transit, and pathways for bicycles and pedestrians.

The session will feature remarks by ADOT Director Jennifer Toth, followed by an interactive session to gather feedback on transportation issues and priorities and a demonstration of an online mapping tool to provide location-specific comments.

ā€œWe have visited locations around the state with a goal of strengthening the connection between our transportation system and the communities it serves,ā€ Toth said. ā€œThis interactive virtual session is a chance for us to hear from those we may not get to see in person.ā€

Can’t make the meeting? You can still participate anytime through the online survey and commenting on an interactive map.

The Next Move Arizona listening tour launched in late 2025 and is scheduled to continue through July. To date, the tour has included approximately 60 in-person listening sessions throughout the state with cities and towns, tribal nations, regional planning organizations and community organizations, as well as Next Move Arizona booths at 14 community events.
