✨ Meet the La Tierra Staff! ✨
Over the next few weeks, we’re going to introduce you to our wonderful staff! We have some new faces joining our community and some familiar faces returning, and we’re excited for you to get to know the people who make La Tierra so special.

🎨 Meet Ms. Doris!
Doris Kennington is La Tierra’s new Art Teacher! She is a fifth year teacher, sixth counting her time as a classroom aide. Ms. Doris began her teaching journey as a Math and Science teacher, so if you love Science and Art, you’ll surely have a friend in Ms. Doris! She loves her students, her community, making art, and more! When she is not teaching you can find Ms. Doris swimming, gardening, hiking, or making art of her own!
🏔️ Meet Mr. Leach!
Oscar Leach is a New Hampshirite who grew up playing in the oceans and mountains. He has his BA in Environmental Studies with an interdisciplinary minor in Arts and Mathematics. When not in the classroom, he can be found climbing, skiing, and exploring the Southwest. He prefers to take the path less travelled and loves spending time outside.
🌲 Meet Mr. Marty!
Mr. Marty has 30 years of experience working with people with unique abilities. He has been a part of the La Tierra community for the past 5 years, you might have seen him volunteering at various activities prior to becoming an employee in 2022. He is passionate about working with people and making sure they are safe and their voices are heard and respected. In his free time, you can find Mr. Marty doing anything outdoors with his wife, Ms. Tasha, two children and their two dogs!
