It’s come to my attention that some people don’t know that we do not carve every pumpkin on display. We depend on you!! The volunteer carvers.🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃…

Whether you carve one or 50 we need them all. We put a trailer or 2 or 3 in our driveway and you can drop off your creations a day or so beforehand or bring them to the harbor Saturday morning.🎃🎃🎃

My whole idea started out as a pumpkin stroll,🎃 where we all can carve pumpkins and bring them down to the old lighthouse trail. Where we light them up safely with battery powered candles, then after dark invite everyone to walk through and enjoy the ambiance of glowing pumpkins. 🎃🎃🌲🎃🌲🎃🎃🎃🌲🎃

So, please carve your pumpkins and bring them to us to display!!! Get together with family or friends or a community group, or your grandparents who haven’t carved in years!! We don’t care about your artistic talent, we love each and every Jack O’Lantern!!!! 🧡🎃🧡❗️

We usually have around 200, just can’t seem to get that number up. Let’s do it!! If you carved one last year, 🎃carve 2, 🎃🎃if you carved 2, then carve 3 🎃🎃🎃this year…. You get my drift:) you can do it!!! Thank you so much, all of you who help us make this happen. This is our 5th year!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃5️⃣

And remember even if you can’t get pumpkins here, we accept donations that night to help us, we run totally on donations. 💰💸💰😃For lights, batteries, glow necklaces & all the things that make this a cool night. I’ve got a lot of new helpers it’s gonna be awesome!!! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

🎃🧡🎃🧡🎃🧡🎃I know there were some who thought who is this crazy lady talking about pumpkins all the time!! A little idea about community and carving Jack-o’-lantern’s and a trail and inviting people to come out to Presque Isle. But this is our 5th year and I’m proud and happy about how many people have decided to join my family in keeping this tradition going!! So many new people and so many community helpers. Thank you so much!! I was given this award by our township early spring. I had major surgery on my ankle this past March and I’m still recovering, it’s been harder than I expected but the show must go on!! With my helpers and my family and friends and community we can do it!! We’ve grown from 800 visitors to over 3000! That is insane to me still.

‼️🎃FOOD TRUCKS WANTED🎃‼️
October 10th approximately 6-9:30pm our event is posted 7-9:30 pm but people arrive early. As we’ve grown over the past 4 years to become a real event!!! This is our 5th year and we thought it might be extra fun to have 2 or 3 food trucks join our fun!! We have grown since our first year of about 800 visitors to 3000-3500 happy faces, happy families and friends:) Crazy!!! I now have a bigger team of helpers and we’ve decided to try this. So if you might like to come over to Presque Isle harbor and set up please message me or add your name and number in comments please. It’s a really fun night with lots of cute kids and fall fun out here in beautiful Presque Isle. Join in:) 🎃🙌🎃

I recently saw these pictures and wanted to share on our page!!! I’m always so busy that night, that I’ve never made it back up to the front. I’m going to try hard this year to see the Sheriff Department and Grand Lake Fire Department after the stroll starts. I really want to thank our community for showing up for us and helping to make this a fun family event. 🎃🧡
