Participated in an awesome 2 day training. First day Idah2o and second day Project Wet. Freezing our fingers and feet off while on the stream, but so worth it! And the activities we are bringing back to our Districts - exciting!

Glendale Reservoir update: The barricades will be open tomorrow May 15 at 7:00 a.m. A verification checkpoint will be staffed 7 days a week from 7 am to 7 pm The cost for verification per watercraft will be $10.00 for Franklin county residents and $20.00 for out of county. The license plate of the tow vehicle and driver license will prove residency. No cash accepted just debit/credit cards and local checks.
The verification staff will be asking for proof of a ISDA inspection form/passbook for any watercraft that has left the county AND a 2016 invasive sticker attached to vessel or Idaho boat registration. The ISDA form must then be displayed on the dashboard of tow vehicle. County residents need to visit the ISDA station within 5 days of launching or have an ISDA trailer/boat orange tag.

INFORMATION FOR BOATERS APRIL – MAY 15th 2016
The Consolidated Irrigation Company owns and operates four private reservoirs in Franklin County known as the Glendale, Johnson, Lamont, and Foster Reservoirs. However, as the the threat of the infestation by the Quagga Mussel and other invasive species has continued, it remains necessary to attempt to further protect the Company's private and important irrigation infrastructures.
The Company wishes to make known its current policies regarding access to and use of its reservoirs;
1. Access to each reservoir is limited to a single designated boat ramp.
2. Due to erosion problems, and the increased probability of mussel contamination, with the inherent difficulty of inspection and decontamination, watercraft with ballast compartments or bladders, or otherwise known as “wake boats” will be prohibited on all reservoirs.
3. All watercraft using any Reservoir must have been recently inspected by an inspection station operated by and for the ISDA, and have in its possession written certification thereof.
4. Beginning now only non-motorized watercraft will be allowed on the Glendale and Lamont reservoirs until 15 May 2016, when inspection and verification facilities may be available, provided that adequate funding can be secured.
5. If these funding efforts are successful, motorized watercraft may be permitted, subject to the aforementioned restrictions, as long as the inspection and verification facilities remain in operation, and the public will then be made aware of any subsequent changes to these policies.
6. The existing restrictions on the Foster and Johnson Reservoirs, i.e. hand propelled or electric trolling motors only, will remain in place.
7. Watercraft used only for fishing will be allowed after 15 May 2016 on the Lamont Reservoir.
8. Any person who violates the foregoing rules may be subject to civil damages for trespass.
The Company trusts that everyone will cooperate in efforts to control the spread of these invasive species by following the policies set forth by the Company. Thank you for your cooperation and help.
