Ever wonder what’s really going on inside your well? 👀

Recently, Fillmore SWCD staff were asked to help a landowner with drinking water concerns. Utilizing a downhole camera that was acquired from the State of Minnesota, we were able to answer many questions about their well.

Using a downhole camera can be a game changer when answering private well construction questions. It lets us visually inspect casing, screen intervals, joints, sediment buildup and potential damage that you simply can’t confirm from the surface.

Whether we’re troubleshooting performance issues, verifying construction details or planning rehabilitation, a downhole camera provides clear, real-time insight that helps guide better decisions in the field.

Sometimes the best way to understand a private well… is to take a look inside.
