Gentle Giant....

What a career and legacy this man leaves behind. Cpt. Roper was a positive influence on many members of this department. The example he set every day epitomizes leadership. His 34+ years in law enforcement represented a lifetime of sacrifice made for the love of his community. It’s rare to find someone anymore who will stay with a single department for their entire career; that loyalty speaks volumes.

As we finish National Police Week, we want to recognize Cpt. Roper and all law enforcement officers who carry the heavy burden this profession places on an officer and their families. We are especially grateful for experienced men and women with decades of service who are still working, who have helped mold and mentor our current officers and who will hopefully stick around to mentor those yet to come. The value of experience cannot be quantified.

We are blessed to live in such an amazing community and blessed to have the amazing men and women protecting and serving us.

Happy National Police Week =)

When we say, “We’ve got your six,” it’s more than just a phrase. It’s a commitment among first responders — a reminder that we have each other’s backs and are watching the blind spots while our partners continue their daily duties in service to others.

Sometimes, however, that reminder can fade during long weekends off, quiet moments alone, or time away from the routine and camaraderie of the job. That is why it is important to remember that navigating everyday life may require additional conversations and check-ins with those closest to us.

As first responders, we conduct welfare checks for our communities every day. We must also recognize that, at times, we may need the same consideration ourselves.

Do not hesitate to reach out to your partners, coworkers, friends, or family members. A simple conversation or check-in can make a significant difference. Take care of one another — on duty and off.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms in our community 💙

We’re especially grateful for the mothers who are part of our law enforcement family. Thank you for your strength, dedication, and the balance you carry between serving our community and being the heart of your family.

To the wives and partners of our officers, we are deeply grateful for the support, resilience, and sacrifice you show every day.

To the mothers who raised the men and women of this department, thank you for instilling the values, courage, and integrity that guide them every day ~

You’ve probably seen this splashed all over social media but people are still falling for it 😡

Check in on your friends, family, and neighbors….especially our elderly community who are most often targeted and victims of these types of scams.

If you are approached with a text or phone call where money is demanded in lieu of jail or being arrested, please call your local law enforcement before engaging in any way.

Don’t respond, don’t click any links, and don’t give out any information!

~ Sexual Assault Awareness Walk ~

Thank you to Castleview Hospital for again hosting this much needed awareness event. Thank you to the survivors, all our law enforcement partners, community members, our amazing victim advocates, SANE nurses, and our Price City Mayor for the support. Representatives from many of our local law enforcement community as well as the Carbon County Attorney’s Office were in attendance. This is community in action and this is why we love our community.
