Human Trafficking Operation

During the week of July 20, 2026, the Priceville Police Department conducted an undercover operation targeting individuals seeking to sexually exploit children.

The operation focused on identifying and apprehending individuals who traveled with the intent to engage in sexual acts with children under the age of 16. During the investigation, undercover agents posed online as minors. The individuals arrested engaged in sexually explicit conversations with an undercover agent they believed to be a child and then traveled to a predetermined location with the intent to carry out those sexual acts.

The operation resulted in the arrest of seven individuals who now face criminal charges. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

This was made possible through the assistance and collaboration of the Covenant Rescue Group, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the Morgan County District Attorney’s Office, and several other partnering law enforcement agencies. The Priceville Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to each agency for its dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting children.

The Priceville Police Department remains committed to protecting children and will continue working with local, state, and federal partners to aggressively pursue those who seek to exploit minors.
