The City of Prichard is proud to co-sponsor **Meet Zora Neale Hurston: A Historical Life Reenactment**, presented by Legacy 166 in partnership with the Mobile County Commission.

This special event will bring history to life through a powerful reenactment of the life and legacy of Zora Neale Hurston, the Alabama-born writer, anthropologist, folklorist, and Harlem Renaissance icon whose work continues to inspire generations.

The reenactment will be performed by Sherrie Tolliver, an actress, writer, director, stand-up comic, and history interpreter from Cleveland, Ohio. Tolliver has previously portrayed historical figures, including Bessie Coleman, Madam C.J. Walker, and Rosa Parks, as part of Legacy 166’s Arts, Culture, and Education Series.
