Your members of the Pride Fire Dept. Along with Zachary Fire Department, Chaneyville Fire Department, the East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office, East Baton Rouge Parish Emergency Medical Services, and Acadian Air Med helped the student’s of Northeast High School 7-12 film a commercial for the “Arrive alive program” teaching students about the  consequences of underage, drinking and driving. This was a competition for other schools in East Baton Rouge Parish. We are excited to say Northeast High won first place! This commercial will be televised nationwide. Please share this and talk to your kids about the consequences of drinking and driving.

🚒 May 4th was chosen as International FireFighters' Day as it is the feast day of St Florian, the Patron Saint of Firefighters.
St Florian was the first known commander of one firefighting squad in the Roman Empire.
He lost his life, as well as those of his colleagues, for protecting the same humane ideas which Firefighters all over the world share even today.
Happy International Firefighters' Day to Firefighters and their supporters all around the world.
We thank you for the courage, commitment, and dedication you show every day by serving your community.

Pride Residents: The bridge on Liberty Rd (LA409) south of Alphonse Forbes Rd will close April 27 for approximately four months for reconstruction.

On yesterday your Pride Fire Dept. Was working hard practicing for there annual shuttle run. This is done in rural areas that do not have as many hydrants as in the City area to maintain enough water on scene for structure fires. During rating this has to be set up and water flowing in under 5 min. Crews were able to get this done in under 3 min! Great job guys keep up the good work keeping the community safe!!

Today Fire fighters with Pride Fire Dept along with Zachary Fire Department, Chaneyville Fire Department, and East Baton Rouge Sheriffs Office Baton Rouge EMS and Acadian Air Med conducted a mock crash at Northeast High School 7-12. This was done just a few days before students go to Prom. Helping to teach awareness of underaged drinking and driving and the consequences it can have.

Today, we honor and remember Deputy Chief Chris Lawton, who made the ultimate sacrifice eight years ago. On March 12, 2018, he was tragically killed in the line of duty while executing an arrest warrant with the Zachary Police Department.
Deputy Chief Lawton was a full-time Deputy Chief with the Zachary Fire Department and also served as a reserve officer with the Zachary Police Department. He was a true hero, dedicating his life to protecting and serving his community in both fire service and law enforcement.
His bravery, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. NEVER FORGET. 🕊️🚒🚔

Pride Baywood Road at the three bridges is flooded. Signs are on the way please avoid the area Carson Road is good for now.  please do not go around barricades you can drown.
