We’ll screen the film before Randy’L Teton’s program at the library.

Train Dreams
Stay afterward for a panel discussion about the film and its Northwest connections.

The September 23 screening is presented in partnership with Pend Oreille County Library.

Mark your calendars! Randy’L Teton will be visiting the Priest River Library for two programs this September.

On Thursday, September 17 at 6 PM, adults can join us to hear Randy’L share Sacagawea’s story from a Shoshone-Bannock perspective.

Then on Friday, September 18 at 10 AM, she’ll be back for a special program for children.

Randy’L is the author of It’s Her Story: Sacagawea and a model for the Sacagawea dollar coin.

Ever wondered why Idaho is shaped the way it is? Join writer, historian, and North Idaho resident Stan Meyers for a fascinating look at the little-known history behind our state’s boundaries, beginning with the 1897 border survey.

Open to all ages! Refreshments will be served.

🎉 Congratulations to our SALTi Summer 2026 Grand Prize Winner, Kaitlynne VanMeir! 🎉

Kaitlynne was drawn from 85 grand prize entries and is taking home an electric scooter! 🛴✨ We had an amazing 114 scratch tickets turned in throughout the summer!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in SALTi Summer 2026. It was such a fun year, and we loved having you join us! 💛

Summer may be wrapping up, but teen programs at the library aren’t! Keep an eye out for programs and events happening throughout the school year, starting with Crow Time on September 18th. And remember—the library is here for more than programs! If you need homework help, help finding reliable information or resources, or just aren’t sure where to start, come see us. 📚

SALTi Summer CANCELED

Today’s SALTI summer at the park has been canceled due to a poor air quality warning.
Instead, we will be having passive crafts and snacks today at the library in the teen room. We hope you can still join us!
