Contact Senators Waren and Kaine

Republicans in the House just voted to increase funding for ICE without any oversight or accountability.

The bill now goes to the Senate for approval. Senator Schumer has suggested they could pass the bill with requirements for body cameras and more training. ICE has repeatedly ignored court orders to stop using excessive force against American Citizens, while violating their rights.

They have made it clear they believe they have immunity to do as they please, and cannot be held accountable. No amount of training or equipment will fix this issue. They have proven they cannot be trusted with the power they have been given. Throwing more money at them will not fix this. ICE must not be allowed to continue operating a slush fund with no oversight.

Please contact Senator Warner and Senator Kaine and ask them to vote NO on any bill that increases funding for ICE. No funding increase for ICE.

The Senate could be voting on this as soon as Wednesday, January 26.
