Big news from West Windsor Fire & Emergency Services! Yesterday evening, 3/30/26, we finally officially welcomed our brandnew(ish) firefighters and EMTs into our ranks. Now, you might be wondering: why the wait? Well, Rome wasn’t built in a day!

But seriously, great things take time. These firefighters and EMTs have undergone rigorous training and are battle-tested, with more drills than a marching band on parade day. They’ve proven their skills are as sharp as a tungsten needle (Google said it's the sharpest made tool🤷‍♂️)

Thank you to our friends, family, and fellow fire and EMS professionals for joining us this evening. We thank you.

So let’s give this group a big round of applause. Your support means everything—because let’s face it, we can’t do this without our amazing community!

Over the weekend, members from six departments came together to host the physical fitness test as part of the regional testing process at the Monmouth County Fire Academy.
This marked the first round of candidates successfully completing the evaluation, taking an important step forward in the hiring process.
The collaboration and professionalism displayed by all departments ensured a smooth and efficient operation, while providing candidates with a fair and challenging assessment of their abilities.
We look forward to continuing the process this upcoming weekend as the second round of candidates prepare to take on the test.
Best of luck to all those participating.

❄️ West Windsor Township Winter Storm Update ❄️

During this winter storm, West Windsor Fire & Emergency Services has increased staffing levels over the next 48 hours to ensure a swift and safe response to any emergencies that may arise. Our personnel and apparatus are ready and available to serve the community throughout the duration of the storm along with our partners from Station 43 (West Windsor Volunteer Fire Co. #1) , Station 44 (Princeton Junction Volunteer Fire Company) , & WWPD (West Windsor Police Department).
Residents are strongly encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel as road conditions may be hazardous due to snow and ice.
We also ask for your help in keeping the community safe. If you have a fire hydrant near your home and it is covered by snow, please take a few minutes to clear snow at least 3 feet around the hydrant. A clear hydrant can make a critical difference during an emergency.
Please stay safe, stay warm, and continue to monitor local updates.
