MYTH: Teen Court is a 'get out of trouble free' pass. FACT: Teens still take full accountability — they just do it through a peer-led, restorative process instead of the traditional system. MYTH: Only 'bad kids' are involved. FACT: Teen Court is built BY teens FOR teens, including the many volunteers who've never been through the system at all. 📋 How a Teen Court Case Actually Works

Curious what happens behind the scenes? Here's the basic flow: 1️⃣ A teen is referred to Teen Court instead of traditional court.
2️⃣ Teen volunteer attorneys present the case.
3️⃣ A jury of teens listens and asks questions.
4️⃣ The jury decides a fair, constructive sentence (think: community service, workshops, or a jury duty requirement of their own).
5️⃣ The teen completes it and moves forward with a clean slate. Simple, fair, and peer-powered!
