The Officers and Members of The Kingston Volunteer Fire Company #1 and the family of Dennis B Shennard would like to extend a Public Invitation to join our tribute as we pay our final respects in remembrance of the life and service of fallen firefighter Dennis B Shennard. Firefighter Shennard served the Kingston community from January 6, 1969 to the time of his passing on June 26, 2021. Firefighter Shennard served as a Line Officer, serving as both a Lieutenant and Captain, and at the time of his passing was serving the department as a Trustee. Firefighter Shennard was quick to respond, without hesitation, whenever the call for help was received, wherever the help was needed – South Brunswick Township and Middlesex County, Franklin Township and Somerset County, Princeton Township and Mercer County or even to other major incidents throughout the state.
Viewing will be taking place at the MJ Murphy Funeral Home in Monmouth Junction on Wednesday June 30th from 6 to 9 pm. The first hour will be restricted to family and friends with Fire Service tributes commencing at 7pm. Due to extremely limited parking, Fire Departments are directed to go to the South Brunswick High School located at 750 Ridge Road Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. Please utilize the Ridge Road entrance.
