Happy EMS Week from Princeton Rescue Squad! ๐Ÿš‘๐Ÿ’š

This week, we proudly recognize the men and women of Emergency Medical Services who answer the call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without hesitation.

EMS is more than lights and sirens. Itโ€™s early mornings, late nights, missed holidays, and long hours spent caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. Itโ€™s the calm voice in chaos, the steady hands in emergencies, and the compassion shown not just to patients, but to families and our entire community.

To our crews: thank you for your dedication, your resilience, and your commitment to excellence. The work you do does not go unnoticed. You make a difference every single day often in ways you may never fully see.

To our community: thank you for your continued trust and support. It is an honor to serve you.

Join us this week in recognizing and celebrating EMS professionals everywhere.

Today, we celebrate the strength, compassion, and resilience of all the incredible moms both within our team and throughout our community. We honor the mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and mother figures who give endlessly of their love, strength, and care.

To the mothers who balance long shifts, sleepless nights, and the constant call to serve others while still showing up for their families, you are truly remarkable. Your dedication doesnโ€™t go unnoticed, and the care you give extends far beyond your own homes.

From all of us at Princeton Rescue Squad, thank you for everything you do. We hope your day is filled with love, appreciation, and time with those who matter most.

๐Ÿ’ Happy Motherโ€™s Day! ๐Ÿ’

Information shared on scanner pages or social media can raise questions and create confusion that discourages or delays someone from seeking urgently needed care.

If WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is experiencing ANY situation that meaningfully limits access to services, impacts emergency care, or requires the public to take action, we will communicate that information DIRECTLY and PROMPTLY through our official page and local media partners.

Operational alerts - like codes that are heard on scanners - are internal tools used to manage resources in real time. They do not necessarily reflect a disruption in patient care. And they are updated every two hours as conditions change.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. EMS teams coordinate directly with hospitals to ensure patients are transported to the most appropriate facility.

For accurate updates, please rely on official hospital communications.
