"Hello! My name Joana Gjidede. I received my PharmD from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and completed two years of post-graduate training to work as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist in a family medicine setting. I am passionate about patient care and teaching, both inside and outside of the classroom.

I am looking forward to working with the organization, and students, to expand our social media presence and showcase the experiences and opportunities available through NJSHP. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new cities and going to cute plant shops!" 🌿🪴🤍✨

Berna works to connect, support, and advocate for pharmacy technicians throughout our organization. Pharmacy technicians play a vital role in patient care and the pharmacy profession, and we're proud to recognize their invaluable contributions to the healthcare team.

"Pharmacy has been a big part of my life and career for 20 years now. Looking back to where I started to where I am now, I cannot be more pleased & proud of myself. I gained so much knowledge and support from friends, family and colleagues throughout my career in Pharmacy. I am truly grateful for each & every one of them!"

As Director of the Technician's Council, she gives the following advice: "Never be afraid to ask questions. By not asking, you are only delaying your own growth, knowledge and self-confidence."

Dr. Randazzo currently serves as Director of the Council on Educational Affairs for the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacy, where she helps guide continuing education initiatives and professional development programming for pharmacists and technicians across New Jersey.

Fun Fact: When not mixing tenecteplase at the bedside, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, playing golf, and working on “granny hobbies” such as embroidery and perfecting her sourdough.
