Logan Junior High administrators faced the ultimate splash zone! 💦 Principal Zach Smith and Assistant Principal Scott Daly went head-to-head in our end-of-the-year water balloon challenge. Thanks to the aiming skills of over 300 students and staff, Mr. Daly won the epic battle by a single point. Check him out rocking the coveted Champion Belt!

At the conclusion of the Holocaust unit, 8th grade students applied their learning by creating a pencil sketch depicting a Holocaust scene as the background of their artwork. In the foreground, students incorporated a colored self-portrait to symbolize their responsibility to carry forward the lessons and memories of the Holocaust, helping ensure that the atrocities of the past are neither forgotten nor repeated.

We have a family in our district (the Comer family) who recently lost their home and all of their belongings in a fire. As a PES community, we would like to come together to support and stand alongside the Comer family during this incredibly difficult time.

On Wednesday, April 29, Logan Jr High will be hosting a “Hat and Gum Day” as a fundraiser to benefit the Comer family. Students may participate by donating $1 to chew gum, $1 to wear a hat, or $2 to do both. Additional donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated. Please know that 100% of all funds collected will go directly to the family. We invite you to join us in supporting the Comer family!
