Our Story

EXPLORER POST

A group for young adults ages 15-20 who are interested in learning about or pursuing a career in law enforcement. The Explorer Post offers both classroom and hands on training in different aspects of law enforcement and about the criminal justice system.

Once trained, Explorers are permitted to do ride-along shifts with officers of the Princeton Police Department.

The Post was started in 1998.

EXPLORER CLUB

This group is for young adults in the sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade. They will also learn about law enforcement and the criminal justice system as well as some other careers.

The Club was started in 2017.

MEETINGS

Club meetings are held at 6 pm and Post meetings are held at 6:45 pm on the first and third Tuesday of the month at the Princeton Police Department, 605 Elm Place, Princeton. (no second meeting in the months of November and December).
