Reminder of upcoming board member application deadline.

Notice of Public Election:

The Princeton Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors will be holding an election of Directors at the last regular business meeting of the fiscal year on June 9, 2026 to fill the positions that are reaching end of term. The elected directors will each serve a one-year term. The Board is seeking candidates willing to serve their community by volunteering to provide governance to the non-profit corporation known as the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department Inc. If you are interested in this opportunity to serve your community, please email Adam Stanley at [email protected], no later than May 31, 2026 to request an application form and the form must be returned by June 8, 2026 by 5:00 pm.

Candidate Eligibility:

All Directors shall be property owners and permanent residents of the service area served by the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. and at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
A candidate must be in the service area as defined by satisfying one of these two requirements:

Town of Princeton Rep. Non-department member (or retired FD member), resident and property owner in the Princeton town limits for at least 3 years

Boon Hill District Rep. Non-department member (or retired FD member), resident and property owner in the rural service area for at least 3 years

The meetings of the Board of Directors shall be held each month preceding the department regular business meetings.
