We have meetings on the third Sunday of the month at 7:30pm, usually at the Suzanne Patterson Center, behind the old Borough Hall off Rt. 206. Our meetings usually involve as speaker or panel on a local, state or national issue. We also hold endorsement meetings to vote to endorse at the local, state and national level.

Today is Election Day --Tuesday, June 2. Polls will be open 6 AM to 8 PM and you can find your polling location here: https://www.nj.gov/state/elections/vote-polling-location.shtml. Today is also the last day to return your mail-in ballot. Drop off your ballot before 8 PM at one of two drop boxes in Princeton: Princeton Municipal Building (400 Witherspoon St.) or Dinky Station WaWa (152 Alexander St.) or at the county Board of Election Office. Sunday, May 31 is the last day to vote early, in-person for the NJ Primary Election. You can vote at the Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street, on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All vote-by-mail ballots must be returned by Election Day, Tuesday, June 2. Drop boxes are located at the Princeton Municipal Building, 400 Witherspoon Street, and in front of the Wawa at the Dinky Station, 152 Alexander Street. Polls will open at 6 a.m. on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 2, and close at 8 p.m.

You can apply for a mail-in ballot up to 7 days before the election online here: https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/mib-request. There are several ways to return your mail-in-ballot: at a secure drop box, by mail, or at the county Board of Elections. Princeton has two secure drop boxes, one at the Wawa/Dinky Station at 152 Alexander St., and the other at the Municipal Building at 400 Witherspoon St. If you are voting by mail, please fill out and return your ballot as soon as possible after you receive it.

The NJ Primary Election is less than one month away! Whether you want to vote by mail or vote in person, be sure you (and your friends) are aware of these important dates. Please SHARE this post so your friends can stay informed!

Going to be out of town during early voting and on election day? Apply for a mail-in ballot! You can apply for a mail-in ballot up to 7 days before the election online here: https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/mib-request. There are several ways to return your mail-in-ballot: at a secure dropbox, by mail, or at the county board of elections. Princeton has two secure dropboxes, one at the Wawa/Dinky Station at 152 Alexander St., and the other at the Municipal Building at 400 Witherspoon St.

If you prefer to vote on a machine, the PCDO strongly encourages folks to vote early in-person as your schedule allows. This year, early voting will take place at the Princeton Municipal Building (Community Room) at 400 Witherspoon Street from Tuesday, May 26 through Sunday, May 31. Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 10 AM - 8 PM and Sunday, 10 AM - 6 PM. No appointment is necessary and anyone who is registered to vote in Princeton (except for those who have signed up to vote by mail) can vote here.

The Princeton Community Democratic Organization’s Founder’s Award is an annual award created this year in honor of the PCDO’s founder, the late Peter Lindenfeld, who played an essential role in making Princeton the progressive community it is today. The PCDO will recognize two individuals: one an outstanding community leader (Community Leader Award) and one an elected official (Elected Representative Award). Former elected officials no longer serving can be eligible for either award. Only PCDO members may submit nominations. The deadline for all nominations has been extended to May 6th. The link to the nomination form can be found on our website (www.princetondems.org). Awards for 2026 will be announced in June and awarded at the PCDO’s Founder’s Awards Dinner on September 19th, 2026.
