Child Protect CAC/Starting Points FSC

Child Protect CAC/Starting Points FSC Child Protect's mission is to administer a child-centered facility for child abuse victims and to coordinate investigation, treatment and education.

The Starting Points Family Resource Center, a branch of Child Protect, is now located in their own facility at 169 Shaker Lane in Princeton, across the street from the Child Protect office. Starting Points provides a wide range of support for children and families, including supervised visitation services, an on-site food pantry and clothing and basic needs closets, child abuse prevention programming, and support groups for children and their caregivers.

Shoutout to the dream team this Supervised Visitation Month! 💙

Tonya, Arianna, Stephanie, Stephanie, and Jessica — thank you for the heart, patience, flexibility, humor, teamwork, and dedication you bring to this work every day. Supporting families and children takes compassion and strength, and this team shows both constantly.

The work can be challenging, but your impact is huge — and so appreciated. Thank you for all the behind-the-scenes moments, calm in the chaos, and care you give to the families we serve.

We truly have the best team around. ✨

Seasons may have changed but we didn’t want to miss a chance to highlight our community outreach event during the spring! Our Bunny Bash was a collaboration with CASE WV & local law enforcement to offer families a fun experience! 100 dozen free fresh eggs, 5000 filled eggs and grand prize eggs were all offered to families in attendance.

Stay posted to our page as more community events are being planned!

During April, our community showed up for Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Community partners across our area “planted” pinwheels outside their agencies as a visible reminder that every child deserves a safe, happy, and healthy childhood. Each pinwheel represents hope, awareness, and our shared commitment to protecting children and supporting families.

Seeing these displays pop up throughout the community is a powerful symbol that prevention is everyone’s responsibility. We are so grateful for the organizations who took the time to participate and stand with us in this important message.

Thank you for helping us spread awareness and for doing your part to keep kids safe! 💙
