SCAMMERS are working hard this week -

We have received two complaints (it's just Wednesday) from scammers scamming good folks or attempting to scam them for money.

Here's what has happened- you may receive a text or push notification from Apple that reads similar to the one below. If you do, please delete it. Do not call the number. Once you call the number, they will instruct you to do other things to "stop" this activity and even tell you (while you're on the phone) they will be connecting you to the FBI. Said-FBI person then asked to take over your phone or iPad and you've been exposed.

Delete the text or push notification.
Check your information with your bank.
Changing your passwords is always an extra line of security.

Attached are documents our latest victim received. They look real. They are "fancy." Check for grammar. Check how they address the letter and salutation. Notice in this, they want you to keep it a secret for "confidentiality" purposes. These are just a few things to point out.

Stay safe by staying diligent.
