SAVING LIVES - The Town of Princeton, in collaboration with Johnston County, has been awarded a partnership grant to acquire a brand-new Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This critical, life-saving device will be permanently installed at the newly constructed Princeton Community Center.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to public health and safety, ensuring that residents and visitors have access to emergency medical equipment when it matters most.

The Town of Princeton extends its sincere gratitude to Johnston County, the Friends of Johnston County, and the Johnston County Parks & Open Space Program for their generous support and collaboration in making our community a safer place.

⚠️ VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION REQUEST

The Town of Princeton would like to inform residents that Johnston County has issued a Water Shortage Advisory and is requesting voluntary water conservation measures due to current river levels and ongoing drought conditions.

Residents are encouraged to limit non-essential water use whenever possible. These small conservation efforts help protect our primary water supply while ensuring adequate water remains available for essential needs such as drinking water, healthcare facilities, and fire protection.

Mandatory Year-Round Irrigation Policy Remains in Effect

Outdoor irrigation (including in-ground sprinkler systems and hose-end sprinklers) and pool filling must follow this schedule:

💧 Odd-numbered addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
💧 Even-numbered addresses: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
🚫 No irrigation allowed on Mondays for any address

We appreciate your cooperation in helping conserve water during these dry conditions. By working together, we can help protect our community’s water resources and ensure reliable service for all residents.

For questions, please contact Town Hall.

Princeton Community Center Lawn Concert Series

Her music captures the highs and heartbreaks of young love, the lessons that come from growing up, and the quiet strength found in faith. Inspired by the raw lyricism of Megan Moroney and the grounded values of Emily Ann Roberts, Erica Rae writes to remind her listeners — especially young women — that even in heartbreak, there’s hope and healing.

Authentic, classic, and unafraid to feel deeply, Erica Rae is a new Country voice for a generation learning to love, lose, and find themselves again through country music.

PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Princeton Public Library is in operation because of the ongoing, continual support of our community through the years. Princeton Area Library Supporters wish to show appreciation for the many donors who have helped bring the library to where it is today, in a new building, starting a new chapter.
A wall in the new library is dedicated to highlighting our donors. In the center is a Giving Tree. Bronze, silver, gold, and red apples hang on the tree representing different levels of donation tiers. Plaques surround the tree honoring our founding mothers, long time donors of yesteryear, and our largest donations.
Bronze apple: $300+ donation
Silver apple: $500+ donation
Gold apple: $1000+ donation
Red apple: $12,500+ donation
