The Isaiah 1:17 Project Every child & family impacted by foster care matters. We meet physical, spiritual, & emotional needs You can make a difference,
one child at a time!
(1)

Children often enter foster care at a
moment's notice with little or no
possessions of their own. We want to rally
around them to show them, "We see you, we
love you, and you are valued!" Our Bags of
Hope are a tangible act of kindness and love
to help caseworkers, teachers and
counselors, emergency personal, and foster
families ease a bit of trauma for children on
one of the most traumat

ic days of their
lives. Our Bags are filled with age appropriate hygiene kits, pajamas, socks, underwear, books to read and color, stuffed animals, snacks (formula where needed), water, Arby's meal tickets and more! Help us give a bag for today, and hope for tomorrow! Take up the cause of the fatherless by helping a child today!

SPONSOR A BACKPACK for Our Ready Set Backpack event on July 25 for children and families in foster and kinship care in our F3 Program.

Ready, Set, Backpack!
The Isaiah 1:17 Project is getting ready for our F3 Exclusive Back-to-School Bash, where we will help children in foster care start the school year feeling prepared, celebrated, and excited.
We are looking for sponsors to provide filled backpacks for the kids attending this event!

Here’s how it works:

When you sponsor a backpack, we will provide you with a child’s school supply list and a little about what the child likes- colors, characters, etc. You will shop for a backpack and fill it with the items needed for that child’s school year.
Sponsors may choose:

💜 Gender preference
💚 Age range: Elementary, Middle School, or High School
This is such a simple, practical way to show a child in foster care that they are seen, valued, and supported as they head into a new school year.

Ready to sponsor a backpack?

Comment below or send us a message, or email [email protected], and we’ll get you matched with a child’s supply list!

Thank you for helping us value every child and serve foster families.

Do you want to give, but cannot pack a bag? Follow this link to donate here: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/sponsorachildsbackpack/

One of the most meaningful moments from our Dream Big Summer Bingo was the opportunity to give back to a family who means so much to our community.

As many of you know, Laura Abner's son, Zeke, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last fall. Laura has been an incredible friend, supporter, and part of The Isaiah 1:17 Project family. Thanks to your generosity, our special bingo pot raised funds to help support the Abner family during this difficult season.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, donated, played, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this possible. Your kindness is a powerful reminder that no family should have to walk through life's hardest moments alone.

Laura shared this message with us:

"Thank you everyone for generously giving to our family! This season has been filled with many moments of struggle and blessing. It is humbling to be on the receiving end of so many who have gone above and beyond with prayers and gifts. Please continue to pray for us as we seek to finish this journey. Thanks again!"

Thank you for helping us surround the Abner family with love, encouragement, and support. Please continue to keep Zeke, Laura, and their entire family in your prayers.

Big thanks to Little Miracles Learning Campus, Inc.!

We are so grateful for this special summer partnership and the opportunity it creates for our F3 families. Because of Little Miracles, children in foster and kinship care connected to The Isaiah 1:17 Project will have more chances to play, laugh, make memories, and simply enjoy being kids.

Thank you, Little Miracles Learning Campus, Inc., for believing in our kids and families and for helping create safe, fun, and meaningful experiences all summer long!

We are excited for all that’s ahead and so thankful for partners who help bring joy and hope to the families we serve.

This week, we’re collecting deodorant to include in our Bags of Hope and to support children and teens in several of our programs. Deodorant is a frequently used hygiene item we provide, and having it on hand allows us to meet immediate needs.

Want to help? Deodorant can be dropped off at our Princeton office at 117 N. Hart Street, or ordered through our Amazon wishlist here: https://a.co/0Bkgdmj. Your generosity helps us keep Bags of Hope stocked and ensures we can respond quickly when a child needs us.

Thank you, Alexis!

Alexis’s faithful service, passionate advocacy, and willingness to share her story are making a real difference. Recently, her advocacy was highlighted in a news story, and because of her voice, someone with deep personal connections to our work was moved to make a generous contribution in support of our mission.

Alexis, we are so grateful for the way you continue to show up, speak up, and help others see the heart of our work. Your story is creating a ripple effect of generosity and impact for the children and families we serve.

She came in the middle of the night.

Unfortunately, that part of the story is not unusual. In fact, many of these stories begin this way.

A little girl entered care with almost nothing. No suitcase. No dresser full of clothes. No collection of favorite toys. Just a few belongings and a family willing to say yes.

A family who stepped into kinship care. A family who answered the call, even though it was not part of their plan. But often, that is how God works. He calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things, and they say yes anyway.

In those first overwhelming hours, several organizations came alongside them, including The Isaiah 1:17 Project. Together, we were able to provide some of the essentials this little girl needed to begin her new journey: sleepers, outfits, diapers, formula, toys, and other necessities.

These may seem like small things, but to a child arriving with nothing, they mean everything.

This work is important, and much of it happens quietly. You may never see the 1:00 a.m. phone call. You may never witness the exhausted caregiver trying to figure out what a child needs before morning. You may never see the tears, the uncertainty, or the courage it takes to say yes.

But because of your generosity, we do.

Your support helps us meet needs that most people never see. It helps turn fear into comfort, uncertainty into stability, and difficult beginnings into stories filled with hope.

And to the family who opened their home and their hearts, thank you for saying yes. Thank you for stepping into the unknown. Thank you for providing safety, love, and belonging when it was needed most. Children need people willing to answer the call, and your yes is changing a life.

Thank you for helping us see the unseen and serve children and families when they need it most.

You remind us that resources matter, but the greatest gift is still someone willing to say yes.

Happy Birthday to everyone celebrating in June!

Birthdays are a special time to celebrate another year of life, but they can also be an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within your community.

If you are celebrating a birthday this month, consider asking friends and family to give toward supporting children and families impacted by kinship and foster care instead of traditional gifts. Your birthday can help provide encouragement, practical resources, and support for our Fortifying Fostering Families program, which includes Dream Boxes, Bags of Hope, DreamCycles, and more.

One simple act of generosity can help remind children and caregivers that they are supported and cared for.

If you would like to celebrate your birthday by giving back, you can donate or start a birthday fundraiser here: https://www.facebook.com/fund/TheIsaiah117Project/

Thank you to everyone who chooses to use their special day to help make a difference for children and families in our community. Once more, happy birthday to all of our June birthdays!
