The 2026 Puckett Road Overlay Project is scheduled to begin on June 4, 2026.

Contracted crews with Tri County Paving will start with cold plane take-off joint removal, followed by paving operations continuing through the following week.

6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are asked to:
βœ” Observe all posted signage
βœ” Follow directions from traffic flaggers
βœ” Use extra caution in work zones to help keep crews and the public safe

Crook County Road Department will begin 2026 chip sealing operations starting June 8, 2026, weather permitting. Work is expected to continue through approximately June 22, 2026, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Please see the attached photo below for the list of roads included in this year’s chip seal project. πŸ“

Motorists are advised to observe all posted signage, follow directions from traffic flaggers, expect delays in work zones, and use caution when traveling through construction areas to help keep crews and the public safe.
