Gain a deeper understanding of Crook County government through this free educational program featuring facility tours, presentations, and discussions with County staff and elected officials.

📅 Sessions will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on:
• September 17, 2026
• October 15, 2026
• November 12, 2026
• December 17, 2026
• January 21, 2027
• February 18, 2027

Applicants must live, own a business, or work full-time in Crook County.

⏰ Application deadline: September 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Space is limited to 25 participants and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2026 Puckett Road Overlay Project is scheduled to begin on June 4, 2026.

Contracted crews with Tri County Paving will start with cold plane take-off joint removal, followed by paving operations continuing through the following week.

🕡 Work Hours:
6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are asked to:
✔ Observe all posted signage
✔ Follow directions from traffic flaggers
✔ Use extra caution in work zones to help keep crews and the public safe

🚧 Crook County Road Department Notice-2026 Chip Seal Project 🚧
Crook County Road Department will begin 2026 chip sealing operations starting June 8, 2026, weather permitting. Work is expected to continue through approximately June 22, 2026, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Please see the attached photo below for the list of roads included in this year’s chip seal project. 📍

Motorists are advised to observe all posted signage, follow directions from traffic flaggers, expect delays in work zones, and use caution when traveling through construction areas to help keep crews and the public safe.
