We want your experience to be enjoyable, so we’ve put together the following guidelines. It is important to note that any comments, photos, videos, links, etc., posted by our fans are not endorsed by PLSAS, nor do

we confirm their accuracy. We want our social media pages to be places for respectful communication, so comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a district staff member, along with inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed. We do not accept cyberbullying and/or posts or comments that are discriminatory, political, racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten or make ad hominem attacks on students, employees, guests or other individuals. We reserve the right to delete comments that do not meet these guidelines. While we appreciate those in our community who want to share their products and services with us, please understand that these pages are only for sharing news and insights about our schools. We kindly ask that you not post sales, offers or other solicitations to our pages. We know there might be times when you have an issue to discuss. This morning, PLSAS staff came together for our annual End-of-Year Celebration - a time to reflect on the year, celebrate our shared accomplishments, and recognize the incredible people who make our schools such special places to learn and grow.

The morning began with a delicious breakfast prepared by our outstanding Child Nutrition Services team, followed by the recognition of our 2025-26 staff award nominees and winners. District Service Awards were also presented to staff celebrating 5, 10, 20, and 30 years of service, along with recognition of this year’s retirees. We wrapped up the celebration with a fantastic performance by Heat Wave, our talented middle school jazz band.

Congratulations to all of this year's nominees and award recipients! Thank you for the dedication, passion, and care you bring to our students, schools, and community each day. ❤️

And just like that, the 2025–2026 school year has come to an end! From the first day of school to the final bell, this year has been filled with learning, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Today marked an exciting milestone for many of our students. Our 5th graders are ready to take on middle school, while our 8th graders look ahead to high school and all the opportunities that await them. For some students, families, and staff, this year's final day also carried a few bittersweet goodbyes as they prepare for new schools, new classmates, and new chapters this fall.

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for making this a memorable year in Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools. Through every challenge, milestone, and celebration, our community continued to learn, grow, and support one another.

Have a safe, fun, and relaxing summer, Lakers! ☀️ We can't wait to welcome you back in the fall!

Today, WestWood Elementary gathered for its final all-school meeting as a neighborhood school—a celebration filled with music, memories, and gratitude.

Students and staff came together to sing, reflect on cherished traditions, create a time capsule for future generations, and honor the special community that has called WestWood home for so many years. The meeting concluded with teachers forming a tunnel of cheers as students walked through, a fitting tribute to the countless learners who have grown, achieved, and created lasting memories within these walls.

While this chapter is coming to a close, the spirit of WestWood will continue to live on through the students, staff, families, and alumni who have made it such a special place.

With the World Cup kicking off in North America next week, the excitement is already building!

Recently, Prior Lake High School students in French, Spanish, and German classes recently celebrated World Language Football Day with friendly soccer matches against other classes, while also exploring the cultures and languages connected to the world's favorite sport.
