Prior Lake Savage Area Schools Social Media Rules of Engagement:

Our social media pages are part of a family-friendly community where fans can join in everyday conversation.

The goal of Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools (PLSAS) social media pages is to share important information about the district with our public, and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. We want your experience to be enjoyable, so we’ve put together the following guidelines. It is important to note that any comments, photos, videos, links, etc., posted by our fans are not endorsed by PLSAS, nor do

we confirm their accuracy. We want our social media pages to be places for respectful communication, so comments regarding a personal issue with the district, a district staff member, along with inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed. We do not accept cyberbullying and/or posts or comments that are discriminatory, political, racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, contain falsehoods or are wildly off-topic, or that libel, incite, threaten or make ad hominem attacks on students, employees, guests or other individuals. We reserve the right to delete comments that do not meet these guidelines. While we appreciate those in our community who want to share their products and services with us, please understand that these pages are only for sharing news and insights about our schools. We kindly ask that you not post sales, offers or other solicitations to our pages. We know there might be times when you have an issue to discuss. If you have a question for a specific employee, we encourage you to contact that person directly. Staff contact information can be found on our website: https://www.plsas.org/directory

These pages are yours and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about PLSAS. Part of our district’s mission is to engage parents, families and community to strengthen a culture of respect and inclusion and we want to operate the same way on our social media pages.

This morning, we kicked off the 2026-27 school year with our annual All Staff Celebration at Prior Lake High School!

Staff reconnected over a delicious breakfast prepared by our amazing Child Nutrition team, shopped in the school store for the latest Laker gear, and heard from new Superintendent Dr. Jim Wagner, who introduced this year’s theme: “ Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence.” This theme reminds us to recognize the incredible legacy built by generations of students, staff, families, and community members. As we honor our past, we continue to live our mission by inspiring and empowering each student to reach their full potential.

The Prior Lake High School Band closed out the celebration with an uplifting performance, setting the tone for an inspiring year ahead.

We know 2026-27 will be full of excellence—and we can’t wait to see our Lakers SHINE!
