ATTENTION CITY OF PRIOR LAKE RESIDENTS:

With street sweeping currently underway, and snow plowing season quickly approaching, we ask everyone to place your trash & recycling containers off the street & behind the curb on collection days. This helps keep our roads safe, accessible and helps ensure:
✅ Street sweepers can operate effectively
✅ Snow plows can clear roads more safely and efficiently
✅ Reduced risk of damage to containers and equipment

Please share this post with your Prior Lake friends. We thank you for your corporation.

We are so honored to help make someone's day so special. Thank you for the kind words Sarah!

"Although unrelated to actual trash services, I wanted to spread the word that Buckingham went out of their way to make my son's 5th birthday extremely special. He is a trash obsessed little boy that only requested one thing - a garbage truck! Not only did the wonderful office staff help to coordinate a special event at my son's daycare, but "Grandpa Greg" let all the kids climb up in the truck! He was such a sweet, welcoming man who showed the arm going up and down. He brought all of the kids special goodie bags and even gave the birthday boy his own present. Thank you to Buckingham for showing how much community matters to you!"

We are so lucky to have people like you a part of the Buckingham family - Thank you again from the whole team. 😊❤

🔥 FIRE DANGER IN YOUR TRASH 🔥
Did you know that tossing lithium-ion batteries (like the ones in phones, laptops, vapes, and power tools) into your trash or recycling bin can cause dangerous fires in our trucks or at the landfill?

🧯 These batteries can spark when crushed, leading to fires that endanger our drivers, damage equipment, and threaten entire facilities.

🚫 Never throw them in the bin!
✅ Instead, drop off used batteries at a proper recycling center or battery collection site.

Let’s work together to keep our crews safe and your community fire-free. 🔋❤️🔥

This week we celebrate our drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation week. We want to take a moment to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

Meet a handful of our wonderful drivers. When you see them on the road, be sure to give them a wave of appreciation! 😊
