Proctorsville Junior Firefighters

Proctorsville Junior Firefighters The Proctorsville JR.Firefighters are made up of 12 local teenagers. The program is operated by PFD Captain Seth Perry and PFD Deputy chief Bob Glidden.

It is almost as if we have our own little group of firefighters we do our own fundraising as well as help the Proctorsville Volunteer Fire Dept with its fundraising.To be a Jr FF you must live in the area of Proctorsville Vt and be between the ages of 12 and 17. If you would like to join stop by the station any Tuesday night at 6pm. The program is open to both males and females. We attend all fire

dept events including trainings, meetings, fundraisers and a 1 week cadet academy at the Vt Fire Academy. As a Jr FF you will learn the skills it takes to be a firefighter and make a positive impact in the outcome of an emergency.

Last week we had one of our officers turn 18 and they became a full firefighter. We are proud to promote Sydney Poole up to the position of Junior Captain. Congratulations Sydney keep up the good work.
