The VFW Post 6878 in Proctorville, OH is an all-volunteer not for profit organization who firmly believes in continuing our service not only to our fellow veterans but also to the local community. Our post is a non-alcoholic, non-gambling and non-smoking facility who focuses on honoring veterans and their service through our works and our Honor Guard members. am.Veterans meet twice a month, on the first and third Thursday evenings. We, along with the VFW Auxiliary, host a monthly breakfast on the second Saturday of every month. The breakfast is open to the community and is our main way of raising funds to be able to continue our local operations. We also provide a facility for use/rent to the local community.If you are a veteran and are interested in veteran and community support and would like to be part of a national organization, or would like more information on our local chapter, please feel free to attend one of our meetings or contact us at (304) 638-6796.
