This week, the Prosper ISD Police Department gathered for our annual Police Banquet to celebrate another successful school year and recognize the outstanding men and women who serve our students, staff, and community each day.

Several officers were honored for their years of dedicated service, and we were proud to recognize recipients of an Achievement Award for their quick actions, professionalism, and commitment to protecting others in critical moments.

We also want to congratulate our award recipients:

🏆 Elementary Officer of the Year — Officer Ben Borja
🏆 Secondary Officer of the Year — Officer Kyle Meyer
🏆 Patrick Turner Award Recipient — Sgt. Haley Carter
🏆 May Employee of the Month — Sgt. Gerald Smith

As we close out the school year, we want to thank our students, staff, families, and community for your continued support throughout the year. We wish everyone a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break filled with time to recharge and make lasting memories.

Our dispatchers work hard behind the scenes every day, answering calls, supporting officers, and helping keep our schools and community safe. They are often the calm voice people hear in stressful moments and an important part of everything we do.

We truly appreciate your dedication and all the work you do each day. Thank you for always being there for us! 💙📞

you are more than uniforms in hallways or patrol cars in parking lots.
You are the calm voice when a student is scared,
and the familiar faces who make our campuses feel safe, seen, and supported.

You know our kids by name.
You show up not just for emergencies, but for everyday moments that build trust, connection, and community.

Because of you, families can send their children to school with a little more peace in their hearts.
Because of you, our teachers can teach.
And because of you, our students can focus on being kids.

We don’t take that lightly — not for a second.

We LOVE our PISD Police Department & especially Officer Edwards. He works diligently to ensure our campus is secure & safe all while connecting with our students even at recess. He is a great example of a dedicated mentor. Creating Four Square Champions!
