C'mon Prosser, we talked about this already. Ok, so we are all well aware that Ofc. Bustamante and his Hemi Durango have been tested recently by both Fords and Chevys with no success. We were like "Hey, don't do that!" but just before 5 p.m. today, 34-year-old Dean Burger of Prosser was like "Well the only way to beat a Dodge is with a Dodge". However, choosing a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan was questionable at best, but to each their own, I guess.
Anyhoo, Prosser PD has been actively looking for Burger in connection with a recent hit and run collision, and a citizen tip notified Officers of Burger's location. Officers attempted to stop Burger near Les Schwab, but he fled westbound on North River Rd, then continued westbound on Buena Vista Rd. That little 3.6-liter V6 was givin' it all she had, but it just wasn't enough to outrun Ofc. Bustamante's third gen 5.7-liter hemispherical combustion chamber engine.
Burger decided to switch up his tactics and plowed through a barbed wire fence at the intersection of Buena Vista and Wilgus Rd. It was at this time that Burger was cooked (see what we did there). After driving through a field, Burger attempted to reenter the roadway but got high centered on literally the only rock within 400 yards.
Burger then fled on foot, and a Taser had to be used to take him into custody. Burger was then booked into the Benton County Jail for:
