For our Newport/Aquidneck Island peeps (or anyone who wants to celebrate Thursday in Newport!) Interweave Channing, Newport Out, and Hotel Viking are holding a marriage equality celebration on Thursday night starting at 6:30.

Newport OUT, Channing Memorial Church, and Hotel Viking are inviting the public to celebrate a historic day in Rhode Island History.

Providence City Hall will be accepting pre-registrations for marriage licenses from July 29-31.
Couples with at least one party who is a resident of Providence, as well as couples who are residents of another state but who will be married in Providence are eligible to receive marriage licenses and to pre-register at City Hall.

All Providence couples may pre-register to receive marriage licenses on Aug. 1 in anticipation of state marriage equality law.
