Come and Build Snowpeople at Peace and Plenty Park!

Wouldn't it be great to see them popping up in the park and other places in the neighborhood, like Columbus Square!
It is a perfect opportunity to get out in the fresh air, celebrate our park, meet your neighbors and build your best.

How about sculpting the snow into a member of your family, a favorite pet, or a tribute to noted figures like Wavy Navy Pooh, Sidney Poitier, Martin Luther King, Blue Ivy, or Queen Elizabeth?
Or fictional characters like... Sponge Bob, Mickey Mouse, Spiderman or Peppa Pig?

There's a lot going on at the park this summer...

1) Free lunches (under 18) July 5 - August 18, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (11:00 - 1:00)

2) Yoga with Kossandra from Raffa Yoga July 8 - August 26 Saturdays (9:00 - 10:00)

3) Reading in the Park (3 - 7 yo) with Knight Memorial Library's Miss Allison July 11 - August 15, Tuesdays (10:00 am)

4) YMCA's Y on the Move for kids July 5 - August 18, Wednesdays and Fridays. (10:00 - 12:00)

5) Nature Workshops for Kids with US Fish and Wildlife Service with Mr. Michael July 27 (Bugs), August 10 (Plants) and August 24 (Birds and Mammals), Thursdays (10:00 - 12:00)

6) Park Care with Friends of Peace and Plenty Park July 26, August 9 and August 23, Wednesdays (9:00 - 10:30)

7) TBA Smaller Sights and Sounds Entertainment with ice cream cones for all!

Visit the park's Little Library for free books for kids, teens and adults! If you have some books to add to the library, please do!
